Did you receive my letter of the 16th? Search your pockets, and let me know how many letters you forgot to mail to me. No Crescent came yet. The papers you sent to me were not opened. Gigi and Haas wrote letters, much ado about nothing. The other night I dreamt that I dreamt in Polish. Talk about progress, ah! Yesterday I started to translate Shakespeare into Polish. Kaŕdy poczatek truday [Every beginning is difficult] My companion studied little English thus far. Are you reading European papers? The latest of Austria is: several big bugs of Warsaw and Petersburg were killed (officials). Oprócz tego warystko stare [Apart from that, it's old]
